Please note that while classes may be scheduled in the future and seem far away now, class sizes are limited and instructors need to be able to plan appropriately. A deposit of half the fee is due at time of registration. The balance is due at the time of the first class. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the class is cancelled due to less than minimum enrollment. Remember, unless stated, the class fee DOES NOT include the cost of materials. Our classes fill up rapidly, so sign up as soon as possible!

Double Star Strip Tube

Asian Hexagons

A modern spin-off of an old block. In this class you will learn to hand or machine piece and applique the hexagons onto the backgrounds. You will also learn how to draft a hexagon pattern in any size you would like. Patterns for hexagons can also be traced from instructor's originals.

Machine Quilting 101

So! You've made the quilt top and hand quilting takes too long. What now? Have you tried machine quilting? Here's the chance to get your feet wet as we explore straight line quilting with a walking foot and spend lots of time on free motion quilting with a darning foot. Based on the classic book, Heirloom Machine Quilting by Harriet Hargrave (book required), we'll cover the basics of both types of quilting.
